Iodine-selenium bath

Mineral-rich regions in contemporary Greece range from eastern Macedonia to the region around Athens to the Cyclades and the island of Crete. Alongside numerous trace elements, these regions are also home to iodine and selenium-containing minerals. A bath in water enriched with these minerals has a stimulating effect on people suffering from exhaustion, fatigue and difficulty concentrating. Moreover, it delays the ageing process, stimulates the metabolism and strengthens the immune system and the body’s defences - FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH AND VITALITY.

Indispensable for the thyroid gland, delays the ageing process, reduces the risk of heart attack/osteoarthritis

Asclepeion of Kos - Greece, 400 BCE

Calcium-lithium bath

“The physician treats, but nature heals” – Hippocrates taught and worked according to this philosophy as early as 400 BCE in ancient Greece. The physician who was born and worked on the Island of Kos discovered that the waters he used to treat patients were particularly effective for skin conditions, rheumatic symptoms and wound healing. One of the reasons for this was the calcium and magnesium-rich mineral augite found in the water around Kos. It also helps fight fatigue and muscle cramps, slows down skin ageing and strengthens the musculoskeletal system - FOUNTAIN OF POSITIVITY.

Health-promoting properties:
Strengthens bones, teeth and muscles, has a mood-enhancing and revitalising effect

Greece, 460 - 370 BCE

Kneipp cold water pool

Cold water treatments or hydrotherapy are not inventions of the modern age, despite having been forgotten for many centuries only to be rediscovered by natural healer Vinzenz Prießnitz and pastor Sebastian Kneipp. Hippocrates used cold water treatment in natural medicine as early as 460 to 370 BCE. Temperature stimuli are transmitted via the skin to trigger positive responses in the body. This strengthens the immune system and stimulates the nervous system and metabolism - WATER POOL AND AFFUSIONS.

Health-promoting properties:
Stimulates the metabolism, regulates the body’s temperature balance, improves resilience

Siwa Oasis - Egypt, 331 - 35 BCE

Zinc-base bath

Alexander the Great discovered pink salt, known today as Himalayan salt, during his campaigns and scientific expeditions in India. In addition, the Dead Sea and the Red Sea were key “salt suppliers” in Alexander’s empire. Aware of the positive properties of this salt, Cleopatra also used it to enhance her own beauty and health. Zinc can have a positive effect on body functions, helps with fatigue and hyperacidity, has a detoxifying effect, promotes circulation, strengthens the immune system and ensures beautiful skin, hair and nails - FOUNTAIN OF BALANCE AND BEAUTIFUL SKIN.

Health-promoting properties:
Detoxifies the body, strengthens the immune system, good for growth and maturity

The mineral flotation pool features all of the healing minerals and trace elements that can also be found in the Dead Sea. This relieves the joints and relaxes the body, mind and soul. Roman Empire, 216 CE

Roman steam bath

The Roman Empire was an advanced civilisation where steam baths not only served as the centre of bathing culture, but also had a major social function. A warm room with heated benches, walls and floors awaits our guests here. The room temperature is approximately 42 °C with a humidity of almost 100 percent. This makes it ideal for heat-sensitive people for reducing stress and treating flu infections without fever, stimulating and strengthening the immune system, muscle relaxation and regeneration after exercise activities.
