Thermal water for the skin and body
The uniquely health-promoting effect of thermal water
Nearly every field of medicine today acknowledges the healing properties of thermal water. This is also due in part to the natural, muscle-relaxing effect of the water during a balneotherapy treatment. Floating or moving in thermal water is also an effective method of prevention for the entire body. The pleasant warmth of the thermal bath exceeds 32 °C, which improves blood circulation - oxygen and minerals in the water can be better absorbed by the body.
Deepest thermal bore in Germany
The Siebenquell thermal spa and GesundZeitResort in Weißenstadt is as unique as the nature of the Fichtel Mountains surrounding it. From a depth of 1835 m the 53 °C sulphuric thermal waters, which are also rich in fluoride, reach the surface through pure granite rock, from where they are fed at around 32 °C into the resort’s 1500 sqm water surface. This makes the bore in Weißenstadt in the Fichtel Mountains the deepest thermal bore in Germany.
